Fall Prospective Student Conference 2020: Reclaiming our Voice in Public Health

Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 9:00 AM until 12:30 PMPacific Daylight Time UTC -07:00

Public Health serves to improve population health as a whole. The year 2020 has revealed the critical role Public Health plays in preserving individual and community health. At the same time, 2020 has also brought to the surface the need to address existing gaps in how communities in need are connected to Public Health. This year’s theme, Reclaiming our Voice in Public Health, is about highlighting the significance of diverse community narratives and representation in Public Health. Among hearing important admissions information and school resources, you will hear our current students share their public health journeys, how they center their communities in their work and studies, and their aspirations for the future. We hope you join us in our first ever virtual Prospective Student Conference hosted by the DREAM (Diversity, Respect, Equity, Action, Multiculturalism) Office and learn more about Berkeley’s unique programs and public health student leaders.

This is your chance to get an insider perspective and learn about our on-campus public health degrees, diverse career opportunities in the field, and the application process for the residential program. Hear from faculty members, current students, alumni, and staff who will answer all of your questions! Learn how YOU can become a student at Berkeley's School of Public Health.

If you have any registration questions or if you require an accommodation for effective communication (ASL interpreting/CART captioning, alternative media formats, etc.) in order to fully participate in this event, please contact sphgrads@berkeley.edu with as much advance notice as possible and at least 7-10 days in advance of the event.

We look forward to meeting you!
