Fall Prospective Student Conference 2021: Imagining Our New Public Health World

Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 9:00 AMPacific Daylight Time UTC -07:00

The last two years have been pivotal for our approach to public health. We have seen the detriments of misinformation, Anti-Asian rhetoric, police brutality, and so much more. We are at an inflection point for current and future public health leaders to reimagine how to create a more equitable and just future for all communities, especially those that are most marginalized. This year along with our main virtual conference, we will also be hosting various webinars for prospective students (you!) to give you more insight on public health, graduate school, and UC Berkeley.

This year’s theme, Reimagining Our New Public Health World, is about thinking critically about how we move forward and continue to create and promote health and health equity. Among hearing important admissions information and school resources, you will hear about how our School of Public Health is championing health equity and anti-racism, hear current students share their public health journeys. We hope you join us in our 2nd virtual Prospective Student Conference hosted by the DREAM (Diversity, Respect, Equity, Action, Multiculturalism) Office to learn more about Berkeley’s unique public health student leader.

This is your chance to get an insider perspective and learn about our on-campus public health degrees, diverse career opportunities in the field, and the application process for the residential program. Hear from current students, alumni, and staff who will answer all of your questions! Learn how YOU can become a student at Berkeley's School of Public Health. You can find more information on the event on our google site here.

We look forward to meeting you!
