Eligibility Checklist — Please check the boxes that apply to you: | |
Must demonstrate interest in research and obtaining a graduate degree | |
Must be enrolled at UC Berkeley for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 (Applicants cannot plan to graduate before May 2024) | |
Must be an undocumented, formerly incarcerated, and/or system-impacted student | |
Must be available to take a 1-3 variable unit research seminar in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 (Fridays 10:00am to 12:00 pm) | |
Must have Fridays afternoons available to attend Getting into Graduate School (GIGS) seminars | |
Complete 60 units by January 2024. At least 12 units must have been completed at UC Berkeley. | |
Must have a confirmed PI (Principal Investor) and/or faculty advisor to apply | |
If you have checked all the boxes above, you are eligible to apply for the Firebaugh Scholars Program. |
